The Afghanistan/Pakistan Puzzle

Shelagh Foreman, Program Director, Massachusetts Peace Action and member, Afghanistan Working Group, United for Justice with Peace

Shelagh Foreman will present background information on Afghanistan and Pakistsan.   The plan of the Obama administration will be described, along with alternatives which rely more on regional cooperation, conflict resolution, and development assistance.   A review of Congressional responses to the problem will be included.  Approximately half the time will be reserved for questions and discussion; all viewpoints are welcome.
