Ali Amr is a 19-year-old Palestinian virtuoso, currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is both a vocalist and an instrumentalist, playing the Qanun, a 72-string Arabic lap harp. His varied music experiences include performances with world-renowned musicians; appearances at cultural events in several countries; first-place competition honors.

Tareq Rantisi
Tariq Rantisi

Tareq Rantisi, born in Jerusalem, Palestine, is an accomplished world percussionist.  He has participated in the Palestine International Festival; Jerusalem Music Festival; Chabada festival in France; Yabous Festival; and Berklee’s International Folk, Middle Eastern and Bean Town Jazz festivals. His CD credits include Turab’s Hada Leil and Away’s Banafsaji.  Rantisi taught oriental percussion at the Al-Kamanddjati Association of Ramallah; Kufiyyeh Center of Music in Birzeit; and the Yamaha music school in Ramallah.
