2009 Apr 18 - 1:00pm

Metrowest Peace Action is sponsoring a monthly Peace Vigil this Saturday, April 18th from noon to 1:00 on Framingham Green, with a meeting to follow at First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Framingham in the Huntley Room.  Everyone is welcome to join us and stand out for peace.

Once a month Metrowest Peace Action invites all local vigil groups and individuals to meet at one location.  Lat month was in Natick and the next location will be determined at our meeting this Saturday.

You may bring your own sign or use one provided.  A petition will be available to sign asking Congressmen Frank and Markey to cut military spending.

Metrowest Peace Action is a newly formed coalition of individuals and groups in the Metrowest area advocating  for non-violent conflict resolution and investments in human needs. We believe that war is not a suitable response to conflict.   Members are from local towns of Framingham, Weston, Wayland, Sudbury, Westborough, Natick, Millis, Sherborn, Walpole and others.
