April 25th, Sunday: (encuentro 5, 5pm)
'Land & Freedom' (1995) Persuaded of the necessity of helping the Spanish Republicans in their fight against the fascist Nationalist insurgence, Carr, a young unemployed worker and member of the Communist Party, leaves Liverpool and travels to Spain to join the International Brigades.

April 26th, Monday: (encuentro 5, 6pm & 8pm)
6pm - 'Undocumented'
8pm - 'Made in LA' (2008) The remarkable story of three Latina immigrants working in Los Angeles garment sweatshops as they embark on a three-year odyssey to win basic labor protections from trendy clothing retailerForever 21.

April 27th, Tuesday: (encuentro 5, 7pm)
'The Golden Rule: The Investment Theory of Politics' (2009) A new revolutionary interpretation of political systems featuring Tom Ferguson, Noam Chomsky, Michael Albert, et al. followed by discussion with producer, Charngchi Way, and director, Jonathan Shockley, via Skype.

April 28th, Wednesday: (Lucy Parson's Center, 7pm)  
'Sleep Dealer' (2008) presented by the Boston Interpreters Collective with discussion by Edwin from Jobs with Justice. Set in a near-future, militarized world marked by closed borders, virtual immigrant labor and a global digital network that joins minds and experiences, three strangers risk their lives to connect with each other and break the barriers of technology. April 29th, Thursday: (encuentro 5, 7pm)
Documentaries on the Zapatistas with a talk by internationally renowned author, John Ross.

April 30th, Friday: (encuentro 5, 6pm & 8pm)
6pm - 'The Take' (2004) In suburban Buenos Aires, thirty unemployed auto-parts workers walk into their idle factory, roll out sleeping mats, and refuse to leave. All they want is to re-start the silent machines. But this simple act - The Take - has the power to turn the globalization debate on its head.
