Nationally-known peace activist Cindy Sheehan will be appearing at the Regent Theatre in Arlington Center at 7:30 pm, Monday, June 29th.

Cindy Sheehan began her anti-war activism after her eldest son, Casey, was killed in Iraq on 04/04/04.  She rose to international prominence when she camped on the literal doorstop of George Bush’s Crawford Ranch in August, 2005.  Five Cape Codders joined her action in Texas.  In addition to being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005, she has received dozens of peace awards from all over the work.  She has also published three books:  Not One More Mother’s Child; Dear President Bush; and Peace Mom:  A Mother’s Journey Through Heartache to Activism.
Cindy recently published an Internet Booklet titled:  Myth America: 10 Greatest Myths of the Robber Class and the Case for Revolution.  She is currently on tour with this book to spark the dialogue and activism we need to separate ourselves from the oppressive Robber Class Systems.
