10am March departs from the Lexington Battle Green
4pm Rally at the Historic Paul Revere House
On April 18th, 1775, Paul Revere rode from Boston to Lexington, bringing together five hundred patriots to face the might of the British army.
On April 18th, 2011, fifty marchers will retrace Revere's route in reverse from the Lexington Battle Green to the Paul Revere House, rallying with five hundred modern-day patriots joining together to fight for the future of community and public service.
We are facing serious crises—climate change, a budget deficit, poverty, and a suffering education system—but Congress is attacking low-cost, high-impact programs that represent a tiny fraction of the budget. And they're doing it for political, not fiscal, reasons.
Join us at 4:00pm on April 18th at the Paul Revere House in Boston to show Congress that Americans care about community and public service, and that we will not accept a budget that slashes vital services while barely affecting the deficit.
