When: Thursday, October 15, 2009, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Where: Harvard Law School • 1563 Mass. Ave. • Austin North • Cambridge
2009 Oct 15 - 6:30pm
2009 Oct 15 - 8:30pm

 RAWA Demonstration

Join Zoya, a member of RAWA, and Prof. Marc Herold, of the University of New Hampshire, for an in-depth discussion of the US war in Afghanistan, its effects, and what you can do.

For more than thirty years, the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) has worked for a nation free of war and fundamentalism that respects women’s rights and human rights.

As President Obama backs a corrupt government and escalates the US/NATO war in Afghanistan, with record numbers of Afghan civilians and US soldiers dying, it’s more important than ever for Americans to hear from those most affected.

See map for the location of Austin North.

Zoya will also speak at Harvard's Kirkland House Jr. Common Room, 95 Dunster St. (map), Friday night, October 16, at 9pm (Kirkland event: DATE CHANGED from Thursday)

For security reasons absolutely NO still or video photography allowed.
Please leave ALL cameras at home. People with cameras will be turned away.

I don't think there are

I don't think there are enough details given on the event to be held at Harvard on October 15th. Specifically, where at Harvard University will this event be held? Thank you, Sandra Foster
