Kathy Kelly,

Nobel Peace Prize nominee and co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence in Chicago (www.vcnv.org) shares her insights about the costs of violence that she has  witnessed in Haiti, Bosnia, the Occupied West Bank, Beirut, Jordan, Baghdad, Gaza, Pakistan, and the US.

Kathy and her friends campaign against nuclear weapons, the SOA, and to end US military and economic warfare. They believe that nonviolence necessarily involves simplicity, service, sharing of resources and nonviolent direct action in resistance to war and oppression.
