Afghanistan: Resisting Occupation and Fundamentalism

Afghanistan: Resisting Occupation and Fundamentalism

Join Zoya, a member of RAWA, for an in-depth discussion of the US war in Afghanistan, its effects, and what you can do.

For more than thirty years, the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) has organized inside Afghanistan and in the refugee camps of Pakistan for a nation free of war and fundamentalism, that respects women’s rights and human rights.

As President Obama backs a corrupt government and escalates the US/NATO war in Afghanistan, with record numbers of Afghan civilians and US soldiers dying, it’s more important than ever for Americans to hear from those most affected.
