Topic

Oct. 17 rally and march

Discussion

Much of this meeting was taken up discussing the fencing off of the grassy area of Copley Square, which happened earlier in the day.  There was consensus that if the rally drew a good crowd, this would be a major problem.   A number of the organizers in the New England region are also very concerned and a conference call was scheduled for later that evening.  The difficulty seems to be not in the city of Boston deliberately creating problems for the march but rather no communication between different parts of the city bureaucracy.
