There is Hope for Nuclear Weapons Abolition

Ellen Thomas maintained a vigil for global nuclear disarmament for 18 years in front of the White House. She is currently co-chair of the WILPF national Disarmament Committee.
            
Carol Urner  began work on nuclear weapons abolition in the early 1950’s. She then worked on human rights issues in third world countries for 35 years. Since she returned to the United States 2001 she has worked on demilitarization and nuclear abolition . She is currently co-chair with Ellen Thomas of WILPF's  National  Disarmament  Committee.
