Pete Seeger was born in 1919, and we know that if he were still alive, he would want us to celebrate his 100th birthday by singing.

That’s what we’re going to do.

We’re excited to announce that Annie Patterson and Peter Blood, creators of theRise Up Singing and Rise Again songbooks, joined by well-known performers Sally Rogers and Charlie King, will lead a sing-along concert.

The suggested donation is $20.

We’ll be singing songs from the brand new songbook, If I Had a Hammer, which Peter and Annie have created for the Seeger Centennial.  It includes lyrics and guitar chords for a few dozen favorites written by Pete, popularized by Pete, and even a few inspired by Pete.
We’ll have copies of the new songbook, and the old ones, for sale on May 10.
If you’ve been inspired by Pete, you like to sing, or you like to sit back and listen, we hope you’ll join us.

What’s more, proceeds from the concert will benefit AFSC’s ongoing work for social justice and peace here in New Hampshire.   Order your tickets athttps://www.riseupandsing.org/events/petes-100th-concord-nh
