Declare a Climate Emergency

Rise-up for a Livable Future:  Peace - Climate - Justice: Featuring organizers from the Sunrise Movement, Extinction Rebellion, Biodiversity for a Livable Planet and Massachusetts Peace Action

The climate crisis is not an isolated emergency. It is complex, and symptomatic of deeper struggles. It challenges us to rise to the occasion and address the forces that have led to this catastrophe. If we hope for peace and a livable future for all, we must recognize its broad, intersectional causes, declare an emergency, and take swift action.

MA Peace Action's Peace & Climate working group will host a collaboration between attendees and movement leaders who dedicate their lives to fighting for our survival. With action-oriented climate movement leaders, we will discuss how peace, climate, and justice intersect, and how we can rise up.
