Online Sunday School: Imperialism, Dependency and Central America

From the Age of Colonialism to Twenty-First Century Neoliberalism:  This  second "Sunday School" will consist of a presentation by Harry Targ, with a power point prepared by Carl Davidson on the history of colonialism, neo-colonialism and neo-liberalism in Central America. Materials will highlight United States imperialism in the region from the US wars in the 1890s to support for the Honduran coup and the aftermath of repression, violence, and displacement of workers and campesinos, leading to the emigration crisis of today. After the brief presentation discussion will follow.
